mixmastastan@comcast.net BioNot much to really say. I think i'm pretty awesome. Most people think i'm fairly weird. Honestly I could care less, but I don't. I'm always striving to make a statement, to fight for a cause, and to generally stick out. I'm an individualist, but I try to be as friendly as possible. However, one caveat I have about other people is that I tend to talk to those who are passionate about some form of music. If you can tell me why a band or singer is awesome using more than one song as a support, you win. I play a lot of instruments, but none of them well. Basically I'm a jack of all trades but a master of none. My principal instrument is trombone. I'm not a music major at my school (UMass Lowell) but I plan to minor in it at some point. 
I've been exposed to a lot of music in the past 3 years, and as a result I've stopped limiting myself to genres. People will get really mad because I put all my songs on shuffle and they jump from dancepunk to a baroque to drum n' bass. I'm no expert though. I know a lot of bands but I know very few in depths. My favorite band throughout high school has been Ozma. However, one of my last playlists (making sense only to me, and was made of the above mentioned shuffle) hahd Bloc Party. Canadian Brass, 4 Strings, Earth Wind and Fire, Watch City, Jin, Hot Hot Heat, Pavement, Ozma, and the Unicorns. Although I kind of like it when I can construct a 10 song playlist and play it for people, who can only name 5 bands or less. Its an indier-than-thou asshole attitude, but I think of it like a game. I DJ at radio stations and I'm always trying to play new music. My secondary goal is to please the listener, but I need to work on making my sets more cohesive.
Enough about music. I'm a plastics engineering major, and i'm 17 and the only minor in my dorm. Awesome, I know. I'm not at all athletic, but I can be coerced to play frisbee and hackesack outside. I was also in a bowling league. When i'm bored, I'm usually on the computer. I'm interesting, I promise. so you should talk to me.
